Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is eeOH.co.uk and how does it work?

We provide self help guides & physician-reviewed reports based on questionnaires.
We help with sickness management, ill health retirement, pre-employment screening & Equality Act Guidance. We offer
certain Fitness for Work Medicals (see services section) at a clinic in Smethwick.

2. How is eeOH different from traditional OH services?

For General Services we are fully digital, faster and cheaper than most services with no initial consultation needed.
We aim to help with quick advice and aid early decision making with detailed management lists to prevent further costs.
A follow up consultation can still be requested if desired/recommended.
Our Fitness for Work Medicals are also generally cheaper than most services, we aim to certify in the clinic same day and answer all your queries.

3. Who can use eeOH services?

UK employers and their employees for workplace health, return-to-work, management referrals, Ill Health Retirement and Pre-Employment Screening.
We also directly offer certain Fitness for Work Medicals; for others we can offer preliminary screening advice, onward referral and interpretation.

4. How do I refer an employee?

Request a Questionnaire via e-mail on our website. This is then triaged to ensure you get the right help for your situation.
For General Services we recommend starting with the Self-Help Guide first, as it is included in the price if you choose to proceed with a Personalised Report. You can start with any option however.
For Fitness for Work Medicals please fill a Questionnaire and liaise with us for an appointment.

5. Is my information confidential?

Yes. Data is GDPR-compliant and shared only with authorised personnel.
For General Services the Employer will see Employee’s medical information if the form is handed together.
Should Employee desire to submit separately the Employer will not see their information beforehand.

6. How long does it take to receive a Self Help Guide or Report?

After triage and payment both the Self-Help Guide and Personalised Report are delivered within 7 days.
The Personalised Report requires employee consent before it is shared. Employees have the legal right to review the report before it is provided to the employer if they wish. Fitness for Work Medical certificates will be automatically forwarded to both Employer & Employee as legally required.

7. Can eeOH provide recommendations for adjustments?

Yes. Self Help Guides include general adjustments.
Reports include detailed, Personalised actionable guidance for workplace adjustments and return-to-work plans. This is more detailed and easier to follow than typical industry reports.

8. What if I disagree with the report?

Factual corrections can be requested and reviewed by the Physician.
Opinions in the report normally remain unchanged.
Employees can submit separate comments or attach documents to be included alongside the report if desired.

9. Can I access my report online?

Yes. Reports are delivered securely either via password protected e-mail attachment or via a secured platform called Egress.

10. Is the Report Legally sufficient?

Yes. eeOH reports are physician-reviewed, include evidence-based guidance, relevant legislation, and Equality Act considerations.
Compliance is based on the information provided in the questionnaire.
For complex cases or potential legal issues, a follow-up consultation is recommended.

11. Is eeOH SEQOHS-Aligned?

While eeOH.co.uk is not yet formally SEQOHS-accredited (due to being an early-stage service), our processes aim to follow SEQOHS guidance.
All reports are reviewed and signed by a GMC-registered physician with a minimum Diploma in Occupational Medicine (DOccMed).
SEQOHS is aware of our service.

12. What is the fee structure and how do I pay?

Payments are processed securely via PayPal or Stripe. You will be sent a Payment Link via E-mail.
